Sorry that I haven't been in touch for a while, but as you can see I'm back!
In this post I would like to show you a game that can be done in class in order to refresh vocabulary that we learnt or even as a warm up.
This game is called ' Stop the bus!'
As you can see in the PDF that I attached I have chosen some categories: clothes, food & drinks, etc. and just a couple of words have to be guessed but you can add as may as you want.
How to play:
- Split the class in groups. No more than 4 people.
- Hand out one worksheet per group. One person will act out as secretary.
- Give a letter: Vowels are easiser (Be careful with the letter you choose as the activity will be easier or more difficult)
- Play!
- When a team has all the words needed they have so tahy aloud 'Stop the bus!'
- The teacher checks if all the words are correct.
