In this post I want to upload an activity that I would like to do tomorrow with my A1 students.
It is called Taboo, but maybe it is not the game we are used to play.
This time, we are going to work on some specific words related to the topic we are learning: Rooms and furniture.
I have chosen 6 words which are not very difficult to describe. I attach you the link: Rooms Taboo
How am I going to organize them?
- First, I will split up the class in groups of 3 or 4 people.
- In a circle. 2 or 3 of them will read a word. They will have to try to describe it so that the student who doesn't know the word can guess it.
- Once the student gets the word they change roles until they guess all the words given.
