Ordinal numbers are very important, they are used for instance to talk about dates:
- Today is Saturday, 27th (twenty seventh) of October 2018
- Yesterday was Friday, 26th (twenty sixth) of October 2018
- Tomorrow will be Sunday, 28th (twenty eighth of October 2018
